What are the responsibilities and job description for the District Operation Coordinators position at Intermountain Gas Company?
Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day-to-day work routine for self and others. Responsible for project management and coordination, pre-engineering, inspection and related design and justification of gas distribution and transmission systems and other construction related activities. Under the direction of management, coordinates the construction of approved facilities. Provides subject-matter expertise to Engineering, Environmental, Safety, Energy Services, Construction Services, local municipalities, and consultants. Assists in the resolution of emergency response.
- Must possess a working knowledge of gas utility operations at a level normally acquired through a two-year degree with strong technical emphasis; and
- Two years related energy industry experience.
- Supervises the operation of gas service. Coordinate budget needs with department heads and administer Company, City, State, and Federal industry standards to provide safe and efficient service to all customers. Evaluates productivity of department and evaluates staffing needs.1. Ensures the timely completion of pre-engineering and related engineering design tasks for region management.
- Assists with utility project management, oversight, scheduling and coordination of gas construction and maintenance projects, the coordination of construction teams and meeting project deadlines in the most efficient and cost-effective manner within schedule.
- As assigned by management, manages the completion of construction authorizations, project designing and estimating, system workflows, locates, and required documentation relating to construction and maintenance of projects and equipment.
- Serves as liaison between company crews, customers, architects, engineers, contractors and consultants regarding systems design and construction.
- Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
- Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered.
- Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
- Required to maintain a valid driver's license.
- Requires travel: Minimal (up to 10%).

Wage: $42.75 per hour
