Description: The IETF seeks a dynamic, self-starter to assist in finance, database, and volunteer management efforts. This is an excellent opportunity to experience a variety of responsibilities while working for an international nonprofit organization.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the daily maintenance and operation of the IETF database (DonorPerfect) including, but not limited to:
Sorts, prints, and mails end of the month donor renewal notices
Assists in the development of queries, searches, and reports
Gift entry and reconciliation
Maintains and distributes donor acknowledgment letters and receipts
Processes address changes as needed
- Processes credit card donations and reconciliation
- Performs filing duties for daily deposits
- Enter deposits and payments in QuickBooks Online
- Processes payments through online bill pay and checks
- Works with accountant to reconcile books each month
- Answers incoming calls from the public, vendors and people affected by ET
- Pick up and processes mail
- Processes IETF information packets
- Fields and responds to e-mail messages for info@essentialtremor.org answering e-mails or forwarding to appropriate staff
- Performs additional office tasks as assigned by the ED
- May be asked to work events requiring occasional overnight travel
- Processes office supply orders
- Manage IETF volunteer program including, but not limited to, support group leaders and office volunteers
Creates and distributes support group meeting notifications
Coordinate establishment of new support groups
Qualifications:
- Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, QuickBooks Online and experience with a proprietary database(s), preferably DonorPerfect.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to visualize and work toward the mission of the IETF
- Work well with a diverse range of people
- Has the capacity to understand and be compassionate regarding the issues in individuals with essential tremor (ET)
- Strong office and computer skills necessary. Must be proficient in accurate data entry skills and management
Hybrid work option available (three days working from home, two days in the office).
The salary range is commensurate with ability and experience. Benefits are paid by employer – health, life, long term disability, vacation and holiday pay. SIMPLE pension plan offered with a 3% match after one year of employment.
