As a net-new logo Account Executive (Hunter), you’ll focus on acquiring new clients in the shopper marketing space, leveraging a collaborative and supportive culture.
Once a deal is closed, our Account Management team takes over, and you continue earning commissions for a full year—allowing you to concentrate on your strength: winning new business.

Job Type: Full-time
Year 1 Compensation Expectations: Base plus Commission $175,000.00 to $225,000.00. (No limit on new deal commissions)

What You’ll Do
As an Account Executive, you’ll:
- Drive Growth: Actively prospect and identify decision-makers to open new accounts in the retail and shopper marketing industries.
- Engage Clients: Conduct tailored, face-to-face presentations and meetings to showcase impactful solutions.
- Collaborate Strategically: Partner with internal teams to align on client needs, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Build Opportunities: Represent IPI at trade shows and networking events, effectively building your professional pipeline.
- Close Deals: Present tailored proposals, negotiate terms, and finalize agreements with clients, delivering measurable outcomes.
- Innovate and Strategize: Contribute to shaping go-to-market strategies by providing market insights and feedback, ensuring IPI remains at the forefront of shopper marketing trends.
- Stay Informed: Monitor market dynamics and industry trends, ensuring that IPI remains a leader in shopper marketing innovation.
- Foster Accountability: Maintain transparency and accuracy in pipeline management through Salesforce and other CRM tools.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel); Salesforce experience is a plus.
Qualifications:
- 5 years in direct sales with a consistent track record of success.
- Experience selling into retail, shopper marketing, or CPG industries.
- Proven ability to hit or exceed quota for at least 3 years.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant industry experience (packaging, print, retail) highly valued.
