Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Member Services Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess basic accounting skills and be organized and willing to do building block tasks throughout training. The ideal candidate will have some customer service experience and will be comfortable answering a phone. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the overall accounting function of our Local.

Responsibilities
- First in line to answer incoming calls. These will be direct member calls.
- Perform dues checks for districts and business agents.
- Take member payments over the phone.
- Greet anyone that comes to our door at Headquarters.
- Receive mail packages from UPS, FEDEX, and Legend Delivery.
- Sending mail, including updated dues cards and updating returned mailing addresses into AS400.
- Sort, scan and index membership cards into system.
- Process Daily Dues.
- Assemble and mail initiation packets.
- Assemble and mail pension packets.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong mathematical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and other departments.

Pay: $57,070.00 per year
