What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative/Order Processor position at Interstate Chemical?
Interstate Chemical is a family-owned and operated chemical company with the corporate office in Lakeland, Florida. We are looking for a customer-oriented service representative to join our company!
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage incoming calls
- Process customer orders
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled sales reports.
- Assist with administrative duties
- Invoicing customers
- Other duties, as requested by management
- Work with shipping department
Qualifications:
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
- Strong interpersonal skills-ability to communicate/collaborate on all levels internally and externally
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work with and meet tight deadlines
- Computer proficient
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Excel)
Additional Skills Desired:
Experience with Quickbooks Enterprise and/or Fishbowl Inventory
