Interstate Roof Systems Consultants (IRSC) is a small business located in New Berlin, WI. We also have offices located in Elgin, IL and Denver, CO. We have been providing expertise related to water entry issues with roof systems and building envelopes across the country since 1999. We work with property owners and managers to make sure that their building assets and people are safe by providing unbiased assessments and solutions in the management of the commercial property. Our services help extend the service life of commercial roof and building envelope systems, as well as provide clients with a roadmap of maintenance tasks and budgets.

Summary/Objective
The Administrative and Marketing Assistant will perform various routine clerical duties to support the organization.
Essential Functions

- Performs clerical duties including typing, filing, and completion of simple forms.
- Serves as the receptionist for the office and greets visitors.
- Answers phones, directs calls to appropriate individuals, and prepares messages.
- Copies, sorts, and files records related to office activities, business transactions, and other matters.
- Maintains filing systems either manually or electronically.
- Prepares letters, spreadsheets, forms, and reports according to written or verbal instructions.
- Completes the setup of new jobs: assign job numbers, create folders and work orders.
- Occasionally assist with booking travel accommodations for the IRSC team working with travel agent.
- Inventories and orders office and kitchen supplies as well as business cards and letterhead.
- Creates binders and/or bind documents for projects as needed.
- Maintain Funnelmaker CRM system and attend weekly meetings to update opportunities.
- Assist with tradeshow and networking event planning, preparation, registration and logistics.
- Review and maintain membership renewals and events for various organizations.
- Assist with website management and revisions.
- Prepare graphics and content for customer presentations, PowerPoints, RFP documents, email blasts, etc.
- Maintain archive of images, photos, or previous work products.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to learn and utilize computers and required project software programs (Emails, Microsoft Suite, Photos Upload, GoCanvas, QuickBooks Time, etc.).
- Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and efficiency/effectiveness.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. The ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. Also, the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days are Monday through Friday.
Travel
Travel is not expected for this position.
Preferred Education and Experience
Associate’s degree preferred or two years of related experience.
Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite. (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
