Overview of the Team

The IPC Innovations Team is a key part of the Chief Operating Transformation Officer (COTO) long-term strategy, dedicated to exploring emerging technologies and developing solutions to drive IPC’s strategic growth and adaptability. Operating independently yet aligned with IPC’s product and technical standards, the team focuses on pioneering advanced technology solutions that meet evolving financial market needs.

The primary objective of the Innovations Team is to design, develop, and deliver customer-centric solutions that integrate IPC products with emerging technologies and partner applications. Playing a critical role in shaping IPC’s future offerings, the team ensures that IPC remains at the forefront of financial technology advancements, delivering solutions that anticipate market demands and foster enhanced customer engagement.

Role Overview :

The Director of Digital Strategy (DDS) leads a team responsible for driving IPC’s digital transformation initiatives, managing projects that evaluate and implement new and emerging technologies. A core responsibility of the DDS is leading the IPC Innovation Labs initiative —a collaborative platform designed to deepen IPC’s strategic engagement with customers. This initiative provides a dynamic environment where clients can explore, test, and implement digital transformation strategies tailored to their business needs. Serving as a launchpad, the Innovation Labs empower customers to experiment with cutting-edge technologies, supported by a dedicated development team and IPC’s technical expertise, enabling them to assess the impact of emerging technologies and potential IPC collaborations on their digital strategies.

Beyond overseeing the Innovation Labs, the DDS manages individual customer projects within the lab, ensuring they align with client objectives, meet project deadlines, and are executed within scope. Additionally, the role involves coordinating digital marketing efforts to showcase lab successes, increase brand visibility, and attract potential customers. This holistic approach positions the Innovation Labs not only as a center for technological innovation but also as a means to strengthen customer relationships and foster long-term value for both IPC and its clients.

Working closely with IPC’s global sales teams, the DDS designs, launches, and supports customer Innovation Lab projects, crafting tailored digital strategies that align with customers’ business goals. In collaboration with IPC’s product and technology teams, the DDS defines strategies, roadmaps, solutions, business cases, project scope, timelines, and budgets to ensure the successful delivery of Innovation Lab projects.

This role demands a blend of technical expertise and business acumen. The DDS is expected to engage effectively with internal stakeholders, lead cross-functional teams, and align project outcomes with IPC’s overarching transformation strategy, ensuring that all digital solutions are delivered with quality and strategic alignment.

How You Will Make an Impact :

As the DDS you lead the strategic innovation roadmap for IPC, this a key role in the COTO organisation and is key to the success of the long-term transformation strategy for IPC. Driving strategic digital initiatives that enhance customer engagement, streamline operations, and foster a culture of innovation. By implementing solutions that integrate emerging technologies with IPC products and services through customer Innovation Labs projects, the DDS enables IPC to experiment with and adopt transformative product strategies with out customers.

This role aligns digital projects with customer and business goals, ensuring solutions are relevant, efficient, and scalable. Through close collaboration with cross-functional teams, the DDS ensures that digital solutions not only deliver value but also position the organization at the forefront of technological advancements, enhancing both IPC’s internal operational effectiveness and build a clear competitive advantage.

  • Additional Information :

We spend around 60% of our time in the office and around 40% of our time working remotely. Some employees may be required to work from the office or client sites more than 60% of the time, if required by their role and / or client needs.
