- Assist the sales team in identifying customer needs and providing tailored solutions
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to potential customers
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure alignment of product capabilities with customer requirements
- Provide ongoing support and training to customers during the onboarding process
- Provide support in the development and delivery of proposals, RFPs, and RFIs
- Assist in the design and implementation of customer solutions
- Act as a liaison between the sales team and the engineering department for technical questions
- Gather feedback from customers to assist in product development and improvement
- Travel to customer sites for meetings, presentations, and installations as needed
- Strong technical aptitude with a focus on video surveillance systems and IT networking
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience working with sales teams and managing customer relationships
- Ability to travel for customer meetings and presentations
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent work experience
- 2 years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role
- Must have VMS experience
