Unity Technologies Corporation is seeking to fill a Senior Application Developer position in Columbus, OH. Unity Technologies Corporation is an Economically Disadvantaged and Woman-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB / WOSB) providing professional support services to government agencies.
One of our clients in Columbus, OH needs a Senior Application Developer for a permanent position.
- Position: Senior Application Developer
- Location: Columbus, OH
- Position Type: Full-time
Duties:
- Develop and implement solutions based on PWS requirements to meet the needed PoC objectives.
- All work is within best practices for application design, development, testing, and deployment framework(s) as required within the DoD.
- Work performed by the Application Developer is in collaboration with the government SMEs (i.e. COBOL programmers) to meet the requirement of executing the automated code translation and code optimization.
- The application developer shall proficiently execute the work using the tools and techniques implemented for the project.
- Work directly with the Software/Solutions Architect and Systems Engineer to ensure the PWS tasks are appropriately executed and accomplished.
- Is highly proficient and has demonstrated experience with software such as Java, HTML, .NET, AngularJS, JavaScript, SOAP, REST Application Programming Interfaces (API), mobile development, and Web-Based API in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications.
Minimum Experience:
- Ten (10) year’s total work experience developing applications for large complex IT systems.
- Demonstrated results working on legacy modernization projects for the federal government (DoD preferred) or modernization with legacy mainframe-based systems in the commercial banking/finance sector.
- Demonstrated experience working with hierarchical database structures as well as relational database structures.
- Demonstrated experience as a full-stack developer.
- Significant experience implementing software solutions leveraging agile SW methodology.
- Significant experience with ML/AL processes and implementing solutions based on AI/ML.
Minimum Education:
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, IT, or a closely related discipline.
Required Clearance/Certification(s):
- Confidential or higher
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
- DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II
