Description

We are seeking an experienced individual who is highly customer service driven to join our team as a Fabrication and Welding Supply Sales Representative in the steel construction industry. In this role, you will be responsible for selling and promoting our fabrication and welding supplies to construction companies and contractors. You will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and helping provide solution options for their needs.

As a Fabrication and Welding Supply Sales Representative, you will need to have a deep understanding of fabrication and welding processes and be able to effectively communicate the benefits and features of our products to potential customers. You will be responsible for generating leads, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and closing sales deals. This position requires a high level of interpersonal skills, as you will be interacting with a variety of clients, ranging from small businesses to large construction firms.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and identify potential customers in the construction industry
• Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and visits to construction sites
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business
• Provide product demonstrations and technical information to customers
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies and promotional materials
• Manage and update customer databases with sales leads, contacts, and activities
• Be the face of the company representing and living the values BZI and Iron Depot engender

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the fabrication and welding industry
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business
• Deep knowledge of fabrication and welding processes and products
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate with clients
• Excellent presentation and demonstration skills
• Highly motivated and results-driven individual
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
• CDL is a plus

Wage:

Starting at $38/hour depending on experience.
