Position Title: Deputy Incident Response Analyst
Location: Baltimore, MD
Hours: 8 am – 4pm (On-Call as Needed)
Position Summary
Iron Vine Security is a rapidly growing information security and information technology company in Washington, DC. We are looking to hire an Deputy Incident Response Analyst to provide a full range of cyber security services on a long-term contract in Baltimore, MD. The position is full time/permanent and will support a US Government civilian agency. The position is available immediately upon finding a qualified candidate with the appropriate background clearance.
Job Requirements
● 5 years, experience in distributed security or operations environment.
● At least 3 years in a supervisory position
● Experience in incident management and/or crisis management
● Experience working independently and as part of large and small teams
● Familiarity with NIST documents and controls
● Ability to explain advanced technical concepts verbally and in written format to different audiences
● Experience in process engineering and documentation
● A self-starter and adaptable critical thinker
● High level of organizational skills with previous project coordination experience
Certifications/Licenses
● One or more security-related certifications such as Security , Network , CEH, GCIH, CIPP, CISSP certifications are preferred, but not required
Additional Experience Preferred
· Breach Response experience
Position Responsibilities
● Take command of incidents by setting up or taking over a cross functional technical bridge call, comprised of technical and business stakeholders
● Drive the technical root cause analysis process by rapidly and effectively assessing incidents, assembling the correct technical teams, and driving the technical remediation plan
● Support 24x7 security operations through ownership and handover of critical issues
● Actively participate and drive incremental improvements through process creation and participation in post-incident reviews
● Ensure internal readiness at all times by leading training sessions, simulations, and table top exercises (TTX)
