LPN - Palemon Gaskin Nursing Home

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will provide primary care and assist in the delivery of patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. The ideal candidate will have experience in sterile processing, venipuncture, and medical documentation. Knowledge of ICD-10 coding and eClinicalWorks is preferred. Responsibilities: - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician - Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans - Perform venipuncture and collect laboratory specimens - Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team - Provide wound care and assist with dressing changes - Assist with procedures such as botulinum toxin treatment - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation using electronic health records (EHR) systems such as eClinicalWorks - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care - Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention - Participate in case management activities to ensure continuity of care Experience: - Valid LPN license in [state] - Minimum of [X] years of experience as an LPN in a healthcare setting - Proficient in sterile processing techniques - Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology - Familiarity with ICD-10 coding system - Experience with venipuncture and specimen collection - Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment We offer competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, retirement plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
