The person in this vital role will lead the charge in helping Isaiah House find and source quality candidates, provide a “best in class” new hire onboarding experience and provide data analytics to support business process improvement. A successful HR Recruiting and Onboarding Specialist will:
- Post and maintain job ads on Indeed, CareerBuilder, and LinkedIn as needed.
- Recruiting and Onboarding - Conducting new hire orientation
- Screen resumes and conduct phone/video interviews.
- Schedule in person interviews between hiring managers and prequalified candidates.
- Nurture strong relationships with Centers of Influence to develop candidate referral pipelines.
- Participate in local job fairs to cultivate and promote community engagement.
- Maintain adherence to hiring and onboarding standards and procedures.
- Lead new employees through orientation and initial trainings.
- Upload and audit completed documentation to Paylocity HRIS system
- At least one year of experience as an HR Recruiter or HR role
- Strong attention to accuracy, and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-tasks
- Familiarity with job boards such as Indeed and Career Builder
- Experience working within an HRIS program and/or Applicant Tracking System
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience Interviewing candidates (via phone, video, or in-person) a plus
- Process and Procedure Driven
- Ability to speak in front of groups of people
