The Position:
We are looking for a positive, energetic and experienced Regional Safety Manager with a wide variety of abilities that complements ISC’s culture of integrity for our Beaumont / Lake Charles Division.
Applicants should have the ability to:
- Corporately represent ISC Constructors in owner safety meetings and site walks.
- Audit sites for adherence to policy and protocol.
- Perform excellence reviews by site per Regional goals.
- Provide guidance to management and craft on new training, protocol, or policy.
- Assist Director of Safety & Health with day to day activities and special projects.
- Coordinates all ISC case management with the Director of Safety & Health.
- Monitors and tracks all audit data and trends.
- Final reviewer of all Incidents Reports.
- Assist in reviewing of all bid packages for job estimates in safety requirements, concerns, and cost related issues.
- Assist in development of Safety Action Plans (SAP) for projects and assist in project setup and staffing.
- Shares information in the Corporate Safety Team Meeting.
- Assist with scheduling specific training and maintain updates on an as-needed basis.
- Assist with qualification entities(ISNetworld, PIX, etc.) and pre-qualification as requested by corporate.
- Assist in preparing, Excellence in Construction, ABC STEP, ISTC, GTBR, and PSM Audits and Award submittals.
- Must have a clear MVR.
- Possible overnight stay, 1- 2 days to 1-2 weeks, quarterly
Qualifications:
- Integrity in interacting with other associates and owners
- Incident case management skills
- Root Cause skills
- Genuine concern for the health and well-being of other associates
- Accurate, thorough, and organized
- General computer skills: Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio
- Good writing and communication skills – professional and knowledgeable
- Rational, calm, open and positive attitude
- Ability to work with owners and other personalities in the company
- (5 ) plus years’ experience in safety management
- Familiar with OSHA standards and OSHA letters of interpretation.
