Position Summary:
The Club Manager at The Plunge House® is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the success and smooth operations of our facility. You will oversee all aspects of daily management, from staffing and marketing to sales, revenue generation, and operational efficiency. Your goal is to create a welcoming, results-driven environment where clients feel supported and motivated in their wellness journeys. Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and lead a team of wellness and customer service professionals, fostering a culture of engagement, excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Set clear performance goals and hold team members accountable for delivering exceptional service and meeting business objectives.
- Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one check-ins to maintain alignment, provide feedback, and support professional growth.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure that the facility is clean, safe, and operates smoothly at all times.
- Manage scheduling, inventory, and equipment maintenance to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Oversee client services to ensure each guest receives a personalized, positive, and consistent experience.
Sales & Revenue Management:
- Drive revenue by creating and implementing effective sales strategies, membership packages, and promotional events.
- Develop and execute lead generation tactics, including community outreach and partnerships.
- Track and report on monthly KPIs including revenue, membership growth, retention, and sales performance.
Marketing & Community Engagement:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create, execute, and optimize local marketing campaigns to attract new clients and retain current members.
- Manage social media content, events, and promotions to build brand awareness and foster a loyal community.
- Serve as the face of The Plunge House® at local events and in partnerships with nearby wellness businesses.
Client Relations & Member Experience:
- Build strong relationships with members by understanding their goals and helping them maximize their wellness experience.
- Respond to feedback, concerns, and inquiries in a timely, professional manner, maintaining a client-first approach.
- Develop and implement client satisfaction strategies to enhance retention and foster long-term loyalty.
Financial Management & Reporting:
- Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources to meet financial goals.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, and other financial KPIs, providing weekly and monthly reports to leadership.
- Analyze sales and revenue trends to identify growth opportunities and optimize pricing strategies.
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure staff are trained on proper procedures.
- Handle any incidents or emergencies with professionalism, following established protocols.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a management role within the fitness, wellness, or health industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales and operational goals.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Health Sciences, or a related field preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership capabilities with experience in team building, mentorship, and personnel management.
- Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and manage a profitable operation.
- Customer-Centric: Passionate about wellness and dedicated to providing an exceptional client experience.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage clients, motivate teams, and work collaboratively with company leadership.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with CRM and POS systems; experience with scheduling software and social media management is a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Able to handle issues and resolve conflicts quickly and professionally.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
