Key Responsibilities:
- Support senior project managers in planning and managing cloud migration and IT modernization projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate resources, track progress, and ensure timely project delivery.
- Assist in preparing project documentation, including timelines, progress reports, meeting minutes, and status updates.
- Maintain project schedules, identify potential risks, and escalate issues as necessary to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Work with clients to gather and document requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Provide administrative support for team meetings, including scheduling, note-taking, and follow-ups on action items.
- Help create and update process workflows, project plans, and system documentation.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and security standards such as NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC.
- Gain exposure to cloud migration tools, including AvePoint Fly Migration Tool, and support data migration projects.
- Learn to manage and report on the deployment of tools such as SharePoint, Power BI, and Microsoft Office 365.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- United States Citizenship required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, information systems, or a related field. Equivalent experience or military training will also be considered.
- 1-2 years of experience in a project coordination, administrative, or related role.
- Basic understanding of project management principles and tools, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with IT systems, cloud solutions, or federal compliance frameworks.
- Exposure to SharePoint, Power BI, or similar technologies is a plus.
- Interest in pursuing Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or similar certifications.
