We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team. As a Travel LPN, you will provide essential nursing care in various healthcare settings across the country, helping to meet patient needs in hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities. This position offers the opportunity to explore new locations while delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities.
- Assessment: Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of patients' health status, documenting changes and communicating findings to the healthcare team.
- Collaboration: Work closely with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
- Flexibility: Adapt to different healthcare environments and protocols, quickly learning new procedures and workflows as needed.
- Travel Requirements: Be prepared for frequent travel, including staying in various locations for assignments ranging from a few weeks to several months.
Qualifications:
- Education: Completed a practical nursing program from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Valid LPN license in the state of practice; multi-state licensure (NLC) preferred.
- Experience: Previous nursing experience preferred; experience in diverse healthcare settings is a plus.
- Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
