Job Summary:
The Environmental Health & Safety (HSE) Coordinator plays a vital role in developing and managing company-wide occupational safety programs. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, identifying and mitigating workplace risks, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in health and safety practices.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Program Management:
· Develop, implement, and maintain occupational safety programs to align with compliance standards and organizational goals.
· Lead cross-functional teams to address safety concerns and implement effective solutions.
Compliance & Training:
· Stay current with legislation to ensure all health and safety policies align with regulations.
· Provide comprehensive training sessions to employees at all levels.
Risk Mitigation:
· Identify workplace risks, investigate incidents, and recommend preventive solutions to eliminate accidents.
· Conduct weekly health and safety inspections, audits, and compliance checks.
Continuous Improvement:
· Foster innovative ideas to enhance safety programs and minimize the environmental footprint of the facility.
Operational Support:
· Oversee the replenishment of first aid supplies and personal protective equipment.
· Partner with project managers to evaluate the safety impact of new initiatives and process modifications.

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least 1 year of experience, or 5 years of safety-related experience in manufacturing.
· Safety certifications (e.g., CRSP, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information) are a strong asset.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems; advanced skills in MS Suite preferred.
Thorough understanding of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
