About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging video content for Reels and promotional ads, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines, and collaborating with global teams to deliver high-quality outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Re-edit videos created for Reel short app and produce promotional advertisements.

• Review rough-cut videos for any flaws and provide constructive feedback.

• Consistently refine and improve video content based on performance analytics provided by the marketing team.

• Collaborate effectively with global teams across different time zones, ensuring clear and consistent communication.

• Maintain quality and consistency across projects, adhering to brand guidelines.

• Pair music with stories to enhance the emotional and creative appeal of videos.

• Stay updated on trends and best practices across social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

• Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in video editing software, including Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects (knowledge of DaVinci Resolve is a plus).

• Proven experience in video editing with a strong creative flair.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence and perfection.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to follow directions effectively.

• Familiarity with startup environments is an asset.

• Must have experience and understanding of social media platforms and their content trends.

• Startup experience is a plus.
