Position Description
The Scientist I or II will design and develop bioanalytical assays, analyze chemical and biological samples, interpret analytical data in support of project development, and collaborate with project teams/management on development/optimization of bioanalytical technologies/strategies.
Responsibilities
- Support all analytical efforts for in vitro and in vivo animal studies, including evaluation of physiochemical properties and pharmacokinetic analysis using HPLC or LC-MS/MS
- Demonstrate problem-solving, scientific creativity both independently and with a collaborative demeanor to ensure production of data of the highest integrity (e.g. accuracy, precision, reproducibility)
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain LC-MS/MS and related analytical equipment
- Timely communication of laboratory results in support of program goals
- Work in a laboratory environment
- Complete all company and job-related training as assigned within the required timelines.

Requirements
- PhD in chemistry, analytical chemistry or related field, and 1-5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience
- Hands-on experience with in vitro ADME assays and in vivo bioanalytical studies including evaluation of physiochemical properties and pharmacokinetic analysis
- Experience operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining LC-MS/MS and related analytical equipment
- Experience with small molecule analysis
- Meticulous attention to detail in following procedures, preparing written documentation, and executing experiments
- Strong work ethic with a can-do team-oriented attitude
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; ability to multitask and prioritize work accordingly
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; ability to maintain experimental records/reports with accuracy and efficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
