We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant I to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. The Accountant I will be responsible for performing account reconciliations, collaborating with payroll and accounting teams, and supporting general financial operations as we grow.
Accountant I Responsibilities:
- Perform regular reconciliations of general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with AR and AP teams for timely processing of bond and rent payments.
- Process reimbursements for boot and wellness programs.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other financial reports.
- Provide support across Finance departments and serve as backup to key team members.
- Maintain organized financial records and generate reports as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Accountant I Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of general and cost accounting, with adherence to GAAP.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Office, on computers and other electronic devices
- Strong interpersonal skills; must be a self-starter, highly organized, and creative
- Superior time management and organizational capabilities, including the ability to accurately benchmark project length, deliver on deadlines
