We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Duties
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage medical scheduling, including booking appointments, confirming patient visits, and coordinating with healthcare providers.
- Handle phone inquiries with excellent phone etiquette, addressing patient questions and concerns effectively.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks or Meditech.
- Assist with medical coding and billing processes, utilizing knowledge of medical coding practices.
- Process patient information and care plans efficiently, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks related to patient information and billing.
- Collaborate with dental clinic staff to streamline operations and enhance patient care.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical coding practices is advantageous; experience with Dentrix is a plus.
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks, Meditech) for managing patient data.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with patients and staff.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Pay: $12.53 - $13.34 per hour
