Job Summary: The Maintenance Planner is responsible for managing the maintenance inventory and oversees the plant preventative maintenance program. The maintenance planner will conduct duties while ensuring the safety of our people, workplace and environment and meeting all company, legal and other requirements.

- Maintain and execute the plant preventative maintenance program
- Organize, distribute and audit all work orders to maximize plant efficiency and minimize production downtime.
- Ensure appropriate inventory levels in the maintenance spare room.
- Oversee and assist where required maintenance of Limble database for plant.
- Coordinate annual inspections of all plant equipment.
- Manage maintenance inventory system.
- Provide leadership and participate in internal and external inventory audits.
- Must be able to work with mechanics on the production floor to gain parts information

Education/Certification/Licensing:
- High school diploma / technical knowledge
Required Experience/Skills:
- Computerized maintenance management system experience is a must. Prior PM knowledge.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and parts.
- Able to prioritize plant needs.
- Able to communicate with OEM’s and vendors effectively.
- Ability to estimate repair downtime and planned preventative maintenance.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Works near moving mechanical parts in a warehouse environment. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as defined by J&K Ingredients, will be provided.
