An established provider of compact construction, landscaping, and forestry equipment is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Specialist to expand business in Fairfield and New Haven County, CT region. This role focuses on developing strong relationships with customers, generating new leads, and providing top-tier sales support for industry-leading equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Promote and sell a variety of compact equipment to customers in the construction, landscape, and forestry industries.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and direct outreach to contractors, municipalities, and rental companies.
- Conduct hands-on product demonstrations to highlight equipment capabilities and benefits.
- Provide customized sales presentations and prepare detailed quotes based on customer needs.
- Stay informed about industry trends and new product developments to effectively position equipment solutions.
- Maintain strong customer relationships by providing excellent service and ongoing support.
Qualifications :
This is a full-time, Monday–Friday role with a competitive salary plus commission, offering a strong earning potential of $150,000 - $200,000 based on performance.
