The Team and Job Summary

We are seeking an Office Coordinator to join our Corporate team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to join the Corporate team, whose responsibilities extend beyond those of traditional Office Coordinator. The ideal person for this role will need to not only have a strong grasp of administrative, but also be flexible and a strategic thinker able to take on a variety of tasks.

Job Description:

We are seeking an energetic Office Coordinator to work in our Boston, MA office. J.S. Held is focused on learning and development and is continually looking to attract and retain top talent who are creative, self-motivated, and organized.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for the Boston team
  • Greet and assist onsite guests
  • Support special projects with the OC team
  • Draft correspondences and other formal documents
  • Plan and schedule appointments and book travel
  • Develop and implement organized filing systems
  • Prepare reports/spreadsheets
  • Document Analysis
  • Work as part of a team with the national phone operators
  • Assists with key facilities activities to include vendor relationship management
  • Maintaining the general upkeep of the premises
  • Carry out routine checks to ensure safety and security

Required Qualifications

  • Microsoft Office required. Must be Excel, Word, and Power Point proficient and have the ability to embrace new technology.
  • Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • ​Strong organizational skills
  • Problem-solving and decision making
  • Proactivity and self-direction
  • Interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • College Degree preferred.

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $50,000 - $65,000. Any offered salary range is based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, training, location, scope of role, management responsibility, etc.
