Project Engineer III, Transportation

As a Project Engineer III in the Transportation team, you will collaborate with team members on a diverse blend of projects with an emphasis on design and technical documentation. You will help lead and mentor a team in the development of construction plans for a variety of transportation improvements from initial concept through construction administration. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in leading the development of engineering solutions for multi-modal transportation projects through the application of Local, State & Federal design standards and regulations.
• Designing and creating technical drawings in MicroStation OpenRoads Designer or AutoCAD Carlson design software.
• Communicating across a multidisciplinary design team.
• Participating in transportation association networking events, classes, trainings, and seminars.

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) from an ABET accredited university
• 6 or more years of experience in civil engineering, specifically transportation design
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Enthusiasm for team collaboration and mentoring junior engineers
• Experience in MicroStation (preferred) or AutoCAD
• Professional Engineering Licensure (PE) preferred, Engineer-In-Training (EIT) required
