KEY RESPONSIBILITIES As a Survey CADD Technician, you will work alongside project surveyors and engineers to perform a variety of drafting and design tasks associated with land surveying projects. You’ll be responsible for translating field data into detailed and accurate drawings using CADD software, working under the direction of the Licensed Surveyor and Survey Manager. Key responsibilities include:
- Process and interpret survey data collected by field crews.
- Develop and prepare detailed survey drawings, maps, plats, and other documents using CAD software.
- Collaborate with surveyors and engineers to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain organized records of survey data and project files.
- Assist in the preparation of legal descriptions and survey reports.
- Provide technical support to field crews and assist in troubleshooting data discrepancies.
- Minimum high school diploma (or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in land surveying or CADD drafting, with a focus on survey projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software.
- Familiarity with survey field procedures and the ability to interpret field data.
- Strong understanding of construction stakeout procedures and practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and other team members.
