Position Summary
Responsible for ensuring strict compliance with umbilical certification standards for offshore products. The role entails the development and optimization of chemical solutions to address critical challenges in offshore oil and gas production, including scaling, corrosion, hydrate formation, and wax deposition. This role involves working with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative formulations, enhance existing flow assurance solutions, and ensure compliance with stringent offshore performance and safety standard. Starting annual salary $75,000.
Responsibilities
- Formulate and test chemical products for offshore flow assurance (e.g., scale, corrosion inhibitor).
- Drive continuous improvement and incorporate innovative chemistry solutions.
- Conduct high-pressure, high-temperature lab simulations to evaluate product performance.
- Optimize existing formulations based on field data and feedback.
- Analyze test results and prepare reports for product development teams.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and certification requirements.
- Follow written lab procedure manuals and implement updates to manuals if procedures are changed.
- Follow health, safety, and environmental protocols in lab operations.
Qualifications
- Master’s in chemistry from an accredited university.
- At least 1 years’ experience in laboratory environment is preferred.
- Detail oriented, ability to work stand alone on product development and testing.
- Be highly organized and able to follow a systematic method of performing a task.

- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
