Account Manager – Athletic Commercial Flooring
About the Role
We are looking for a driven and customer focused Inside Sales Account Manager to join our team! This role is responsible for developing and managing relationships with sports facility managers, architects, designers, and end-users to drive sales of our premium athletic flooring solutions, including basketball courts, volleyball courts, pickleball courts, and more.

Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development
- Proactively generate and qualify leads through outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups.
- Become the trusted expert in athletic commercial flooring solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with sports facility managers, architects, designers, and key decision-makers.
- Conduct virtual consultations and product presentations to educate clients on flooring options.
- Maintain an organized pipeline of opportunities within CRM and track progress.
- Estimating & Proposal Preparation
- Review project specs and gather details to prepare accurate quotes and proposals.
- Work with vendors to secure competitive pricing on materials.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively.
- Ensure timely follow-ups on proposals to increase win rates.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the sales process.
- Perform regular check-ins with clients to identify new opportunities.
- Address customer concerns with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
- Coordinate internally with project managers and operations teams to ensure seamless order processing.
- Administrative & Reporting Duties
- Accurately log all activities and customer interactions in CRM.
- Track and report key performance metrics, including sales targets and conversion rates.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and new products to provide valuable insights to clients.
What We’re Looking For
Proven inside sales experience (preferably in commercial flooring, sports surfacing, or construction materials).
Strong phone, email, and virtual communication skills.
Ability to build relationships and manage long sales cycles.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Experience using CRM systems for lead and pipeline management.
Self-motivated with a passion for closing deals and exceeding sales targets.
