Job Description:
Currently, we are seeking a Full Time Branch Manager to join our team. Since 1937, Jaeger Lumber (Family Owned) has been providing a full array of building materials for high end remodeling and new construction projects in the residential market and is known for providing a high level of customer service. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall management of the business location, including, but not limited to: sales, profit, employees, and customer experience. You will be expected to work with Human Resources in the enforcement of all Jaeger Lumber policies and procedures.

Duties
· Scheduling of employees’ time and managing payroll
- People Management & Development – manage, and develop, a cohesive high performing team.
· Assist in keeping all areas of your branch clean and organized
· Management of the customer experience
· Driving the sales of the branch location and profitability to meet and exceed your annual budget
· Conducting of annual employee reviews
· Identifying and assignment of employee training and certifications
· Managing an accurate inventory – being mindful of its condition and proper handling
· Monitoring all equipment and keeping track of its maintenance schedule and cost
· Develop and maintain a professional work environment
· Managing the sales and support of the kitchen and outside sales team
· Develop and support a zero-incident safety culture
Desired Qualifications and Experience
· High School Diploma
· 4 years industry experience required
· 4 years of management and scheduling experience
· 2 years of customer service experience
· Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
· Excellent leadership with outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
· A proactive approach to problem-solving with a keen attention to detail.
· Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
· Computer Literacy including Microsoft Office
· Valid Driver’s License a must
- Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish is beneficial but not mandatory.
