JANCO is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. As a Day Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our client’s facilities throughout the day. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the building remains tidy, presentable, and sanitized, providing a clean and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:

As a Day Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our client’s facilities throughout the day. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the building remains tidy, presentable, and sanitized, providing a clean and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming common areas.
- Restock and maintain cleanliness in restrooms, including replenishing supplies and sanitizing surfaces.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners throughout the facility.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests and emergencies from staff and management.
- Ensure high-touch areas such as door handles, elevator buttons, and railings are regularly disinfected.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down meeting rooms and event spaces as needed.
- Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with employees, visitors, and clients.

To ensure the health and wellbeing of our clients: Daily maintain and clean offices, lobbies, restrooms and other work areas by emptying trash cans and collecting recyclables, dusting, sweeping and moping.
- Day Porter work schedules are 1st shift and are typically from 10am to 4pm, Monday through Friday
- Average hours are 30 hours each week
