Overview
Provide administrative support across the organization, collaborating closely with the corporate HR team. Support the ACT team with various HR-related processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and termination processing. Assist ACT employees with HR inquiries and coordinate employee engagement events to foster a positive workplace environment.
Responsibilities
- Participate in administrative staff meetings when needed.
- Assist employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
- Monitor and ensure supervisors approve timecards by the deadline, sending reminders and escalating delays as needed.
- Provides support to employees for HR-related questions and direct them to the appropriate Corporate HR team member when needed.
- Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs.
- Screen resumes, interview candidates (by phone or in person), administer appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, make recommendations regarding hiring and deliver employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt openings.
- Work with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations.
- Perform new hire preparation and onboarding, including Applicant Tracking System entry and follow up, and submission of new hire paperwork, and completing I-9 Forms for new hires.
- With Corporate HR’s guidance, assist with gathering information for investigations, terminations and others.
- Maintain standard headcount spreadsheet. Solicit approvals for additional positions requested by management.
- Coordinate morale events and activities for employees.
- Provides training on new policies and procedures as needed.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications
- Four-year college degree in Human Resources preferred or 2-3 years previous work-related experience.
- Intermediate computer skills required, Outlook, Excel, Work, Email and ADP.
- Data entry accuracy, detail orientated and extremely organized all a must.
