A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A JOURNEYMAN CABINET MAKER
As a Journeyman Cabinet Maker, you have the important responsibility of assembling our custom orders. Your job is to read the blueprints, interpret them, and assemble the projects from pre-machined parts. Each day is different as you use a variety of materials and fabrication techniques to build cabinets, counters, reception desks, furniture, paneling, bars, and more.
A perfectionist at heart, you thrive on working within set tolerances and aligning each element with precision. The projects are often complex, but you enjoy the challenge of assembling them and achieving the task within deadline. Once a project is finished, you step back and admire your work. You take pride in the high quality that results when our fine millwork meets your skilled hands!
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of experience in woodworking
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience using a wide variety of woodworking tools, power tools, and machinery
- Experience using a variety of materials, including solid wood, plywood, plastic laminates, solid surface material, and metal
- Ability to perform the physical functions for the job, including the capacity to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to work in small places (cabinet interiors) and a non-climate-controlled warehouse

WORK SCHEDULE
