We are looking for a Warehouse Lead for the Principe Columbia site that:

JOB SUMMARY

​Under direct supervision and under established warehouse procedures, assists the Warehouse Manager with maintaining the integrity of the coolers, train and supervise dock employees, and oversee all shipping and receiving activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Unload product and ensure all quantity and quality requirements are met, all paperwork matches, and all receiving requirements are met according to the receiving record.

Monitor inbounds, verify all inbound and outbound paperwork to and from drivers.

Observe cleanliness of truck and keep all coolers and work areas clean and free of debris.

Replace any defective bar codes or labels

Notify Supervisor or Manage of any damages, shortages or discrepancies; coach other employees on how to do the same

Properly slot products according to “Put Away” function on RF Scan gun

Coach fellow employees to complete job tasks using and operating the RF scan gun.

Attend and participate in monthly safety meetings& daily huddle meetings

Knows and demonstrates 6S principles.

Lead by example to ensure the actions of loaders, pullers, stagers, andslotterssupport our goals for quality, quantity, and safety.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Ability to learn in a hands-on environment.
SAP experience a plus

Basic understanding of meat manufacturing operations prior experience with meat business preferred.

Able to operate an pallet jack and a forklift

Experience with Inventory Control processes.

HS Diploma, GED or higher preferred; but experience will be consideredin place of education
