Hours: Monday-Friday | 12-6pm - 9-11pm
Every other Saturday - No Sundays
Essential Duties:
- Answer customer questions and concerns in a professional, friendly manner.
- Assist with activities at the terminal to provide customers with fast, efficient and safe service.
- Take orders and fulfill ticket and bus bill requests for customers.
- Provide information to the public and agents on the rural transit systems.
- Provide customer service regarding scheduling, ticket information, and direct passengers.
- Problem solve any service or customer satisfaction issues that may arise.
- Assist Passengers with luggage
- Qualifications
- Skills/Abilities:
- Be detail-oriented.
- Ability to calculate figures, amounts and statistics.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
- Ability to problem solve quickly.
- Selling skills.
- Ability and commitment to handle information in a confidential manner.
- Ability to lift/push up to 50 pounds
- Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, climb steps and crouch, balance, stoop, kneel and assist disabled passengers. Occasionally required to reach with hands or arms. May frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds. Work Environment:
- May occasionally work outdoors and be exposed to outdoor weather (heat and cold) conditions.
