Job Summary:
The Emergency Department Attendant plays a critical role in the healthcare team by providing direct patient care to an assigned group of patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse. They will ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients, providing compassionate and empathetic care while maintain patient dignity and confidentiality. The ER Attendant will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to support patient treatment and recovery.
ER Attendant Role Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- BLS Certification within 30 days upon hire.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills for the electronic medical record.
- Have experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Preferred soft skills: empathy, compassion, problem solving skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Valid Arkansas Drivers’ License.
- This position is a Safety Sensitive Position.
