Hours: Days, Monday - Friday
Educational, Experience and Skill Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and active listening. Advanced computer skills with experience in MS office. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Is eager to learn and is willing to take instruction and feedback. Can maintain relationships and gain respect due to the trust built with the team and peers. Can prioritize, delegate, and organize their schedules and task. Possess additional soft skills in areas such as adaptability, conflict resolution, and/or self-motivation.
Educational, Experience and Skills Preferred: Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Allied Health, Nursing, Healthcare Administration or other related field. Project management or people management experience or verifiable progressive responsibility in a customer service or healthcare setting OR Previous experience in outpatient clinic setting preferably in healthcare management or business admin OR Previous experience in healthcare setting from areas including management, revenue cycle, regulatory compliance or from a clinical profession.
The Oncology Practice Manager I is responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team in the clinical and administrative aspects of the Oncology Practice Clinic. Day to day responsibilities include areas such as financial stewardship, staff management, leadership, process improvement, policy adherence, compliance, and meeting key performance indicators. This position works directly with the Practice Operation Director in identifying and recommending changes in the practice.
This position is designated as a Safety Sensitive Position if Manager is clinically trained and will be performing clinical duties.
