Job Summary
Jenkins Lawn and Landscape is seeking hardworking and reliable individuals to join our sidewalk snow removal team for the upcoming winter season. This is a seasonal position, perfect for individuals who enjoy outdoor work and want to make some extra money during the winter slow season. Truck and tractor positions available for qualified candidates as well.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clear snow and apply de-icing materials on sidewalks, walkways, and entryways using shovels, snow blowers, and other equipment.
- Ensure safety and accessibility for clients by responding promptly to snow and ice events.
- Work collaboratively with the team to complete assignments efficiently and effectively.
- Operate equipment safely and maintain it in good working condition.
Requirements:
- Must be available on-call during snow events, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Ability to work in cold and physically demanding conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Prior snow removal experience is a plus but not required. Training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
