What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer/Painter position at JESCO, Inc.?
This position requires a self-motivated, competent individual with a high energy level who is able to work alone or with others in a field environment. Job duties are below. This is not an all-inclusive list of job duties. Compensation is based on experience.
- Good mathematical, scientific, mechanical and logical reasoning skills
- High School GED or higher
- Pass a drug screen and background check
Typical Duties:
· Painting experience preferred
· Ability to operate forklift
· Ability to operate grinder/buffer
· Assist with gathering equipment, plan lay out, assembly, etc.
· Use General Equipment in A Metal Fabrication Shop
· Cleaning up work areas
· Other tasks appointed by the Shop Foreman/Manager
Physical Requirements:
· Work easily and skillfully with hands
· Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs
· Climb and maintain balance on high ladders, scaffolds, and other elevated work platforms
· Stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, or crawl for extended periods of time
