Position: Mechanical Preconstruction Estimating Manager

Location: Tupelo, MS

Typical Duties:

· Developing relationships with client’s preconstruction managers

· Analyzing RFP’s for potential projects to bid

· Formulating budgets from narratives, scopes or other documentation

· Keep Estimating software updated

· Training additional estimators

Qualifications:

· Minimum 10 years’ experience

· BS Mechanical Engineering

· Strong Communications skills including interaction with clients, subcontractors, and vendors

· Proficient in the use of AutoBid – Trimble

· Technical knowledge of HVAC and Plumbing systems

· Code proficiency in both trades

· Excellent analytical abilities which provides them the skill to take a project from a written narrative and limited information to a budget price

· Evaluate and understand technical documents
