What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Day Shift Traveling Sales Associate position at Jet Gas Corporation?
PURPOSE OF POSITION :
To provide quality customer service for all purchases and to perform a wide variety of duties essential to the facility's efficient operations. To fill in gaps in the day hours at locations within our chain of 11 convenience stores.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
These lists of duties are normal for this position. This is not all-inclusive, other duties may be required.
- Greet and provide service to the customers efficiently and courteously.
- Operate cash register & drawer; receive cash, check or credit card from customers; make change
- Prepare customer food orders in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and / or safety of store facility, equipment, and premises.
- Stock all shelves, coolers, and backrooms.
- Assist manager in inventory control : receiving, pricing, and completing all paperwork pertaining to the merchandise delivered by the vendor.
- Check ID cards for legal beer, tobacco, lottery, and related merchandise sales.
- Complete all paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
- Adhere to all Jet Gas Corporation handbook policies.
- professionally conduct self.
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.
- Must maintain a work schedule and good attendance. Employees must work the shifts they are scheduled for or find a replacement when they have conflicts.
- Applicant must be available days and every other weekend days within the hours of 5 am -3 pm
- Applicant must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Applicant must be willing to travel to one of our 11 locations to work. Mileage will be reimbursed.
Salary : $14 - $16
