Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and maintain HVAC units including electronic and mechanical components
- Operates a variety of equipment such as hand tools and diagnostic hardware
- Operates various measuring, diagnostic, and testing instruments
- Conserve, install, and recycle CFC and HCFC (Chlorofluorocarbon family) refrigerants
- Install or repair electrical connections to HVAC components
- Comply with the standards for HVAC systems as dictated by the State where the work is being done.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Mechanical aptitude is a priority.
- Must be able to cope with demands (stressors) associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.
