Responsibilities:
: * Advocate for clients in complex environmental and energy matters before administrative bodies, regulatory agencies, and courts.
- Navigate and manage permitting processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and conduct due diligence for energy and environmental projects.
- Lead and support transactional matters in the energy and environmental sectors, including contract negotiations and deal structuring.
- Spearhead litigation efforts, including preparing and arguing motions, conducting depositions, making court appearances, and managing electronic discovery processes.
- Provide strategic counsel to clients on emerging environmental and energy regulations and industry trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative legal solutions for clients' environmental and energy challenges.
Requirements:
: * Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school; admission to NY bar.
- 3-6 years of demonstrable experience representing clients in a diverse range of environmental and/or energy matters.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to various audiences.
- Strong academic credentials and a track record of professional excellence.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and relevant software applications.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $128,000.00 - $158,000.00 per year
