Summary
The Risk Services Intern is responsible for assisting the Risk Services department with day-to-day operational tasks and activities. This role will maintain loss prevention programs or initiatives focusing on customer, data, quality, accuracy, and timeliness. Consistently provides tactical internal and external customer service. Assists in the administration and development of new and existing loss prevention products and techniques.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Day-to-day operations of new and existing Risk Services initiatives:
- auditing of programs and performance,
- creating, managing, and streamlining reporting of initiatives and programs,
- updating and validating data,
- managing customer enrollments and day to day performance of programs and initiatives,
- Creating and updating standard operating procedures for initiatives and programs,
- Assist with preparation of internal and external presentations, trainings, and reporting for the loss prevention team

Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a related curriculum in an undergraduate program at an accredited technical school, college, or university
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Share Point)
- Experience with PowerPivot, SQL, Power BI, and/or other query/reporting skills with data manipulation and pivot tables preferred
- Must have strong customer service centric skills, including a sense of urgency, and the ability to think critically to find solutions for internal and external stakeholder
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to work autonomously and establish working relationships with individuals at varying levels within the company
- Must be detail-oriented and possess effective organizational skills.
