Engagement Officer, Grandparent Initiative

The Engagement Officer for the Grandparent Initiative plays a vital role in fostering connections between grandparents and the community. The Engagement Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that encourage participation, support, and education among grandparents, ensuring their voices are heard and valued.

Duties

• Recruit and engage grandparents to participate in various initiatives and programs.
• Conduct market research to identify community needs and interests related to grandparent involvement.
• Collect and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of programs and initiatives.
• Manage social media platforms to promote events, share success stories, and engage with the community.
• Provide administrative support to ensure smooth operation of programs and initiatives.
• Deliver public speaking engagements to educate the community about the importance of grandparent involvement.
• Exhibit leadership qualities by supervising volunteers and providing guidance on best practices.
• Educate grandparents on available resources, programs, and opportunities for engagement.
• Oversee volunteer management, including recruitment, training, and scheduling.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
