JHTNA Manufacturing LLC is Hiring a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor Near Sturtevant, WI
Description
Johnson Health Tech's manufacturing plant in Sturtevant, WI is looking for a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to oversee operations of it's 2nd shift. Under the direction of the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor would ensure the achievement of production objectives on the 2nd shift through supervision of 2nd shift staff, as well as occasional hands on assistance with machine operation. This is a supervisory role.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize and delegate work assignments and directly supervise staff to ensure the achievement of production objectives at the lowest cost consistent with company quality requirements
- Oversee 2nd shift continuation of production schedules from 1st shift to ensure timely delivery of customer products and maintain appropriate lead times.
- Ensure production equipment is available with minimal downtime.
- Enforce safety and work rules, ensure proper use of equipment and establish plant 5S standards.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws including but not limited to hiring, firing, performance management, training, disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and solving problems.
- Contribute to a positive working environment and lead by example.
Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of CNC machine operation, robotic welding, and/or MIG welding
- Strong communication skills
- Basic mathematical skills and ability to read engineering prints
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations for manufacturing environments
- Strong team leadership, team building and facilitation skills
- Able to work well with other management staff

Requirements
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required. Two-year technical degree preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
- 3-5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Previous CNC or Robotic Welding experience required
