by Laura and Doug Zander, JBW started with some coffee and a bit of yarn in Truckee,
California. It’s now grown into 3 businesses, a fun team of 35 people, 20,000 square foot
warehouse, and more!!
Today, you can find us in the heart of South Reno! The commute to our warehouse is
easy and convenient! Depending on where you live in Reno, it can be anywhere from 5-
25 minutes to get to us.
We are looking for a talented and energetic Entry - Level Fulfillment Associate to join our team.
Job Description:
As an entry level Yarn Warehouse Fulfillment Associate, your primary responsibility will
be to assist in the smooth and efficient operation of the yarn warehouse. You will play a
vital role in ensuring that orders are accurately processed, packaged, and shipped to
customers in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Order Processing: Receive and review customer orders, verifying accuracy and
completeness. Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring the correct yarn types,
colors, and quantities are selected.
2. Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining an organized and well-stocked
warehouse. Perform regular inventory counts, monitor stock levels, and report any
discrepancies to the supervisor. Help with receiving and storing incoming yarn
shipments.
3. Packaging and Labeling: Properly package yarn orders using appropriate materials
and techniques. Apply shipping labels and ensure that all relevant information,
such as order numbers and customer details, is accurately recorded.
4. Quality Control: Inspect yarn products for any damages or defects. Identify and
report any issues to the supervisor. Help maintain high-quality standards by
adhering to quality control procedures.
5. Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, hand
trucks, and packaging machinery, in a safe and efficient manner. Follow proper
safety protocols and report any equipment malfunctions.
6. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of incoming and
outgoing shipments, inventory levels, and any other relevant documentation.
Ensure that records are properly updated in the warehouse management system.
7. Teamwork and Collaboration: Collaborate with other warehouse team members to
meet productivity goals and ensure a smooth workflow. Support a positive work
environment by actively participating in team meetings and sharing ideas for
process improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Prior experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is a plus, but not
required.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and use of warehouse management systems.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy packages, up to a specified
weight limit.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and inventory
management.
- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members and
follow instructions.

- Sunday to Thursday
- Weekends may be required
