What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Tech position at JMAC Resources?
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
Hours: 40 hours a week (weekdays and weekends)
SUMMARY
The Maintenance Tech reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and takes care of the Company's properties/activities as assigned.
DUTIES
Overall supervision of anything maintenance related, Examples:
- Repair drywall, texture, and paint.
- Hang doors and perform basic trim work/carpentry.
- Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs.
- Perform landscaping (to include mowing, trimming, etc.).
- Frame simple structures.
- Perform HVAC maintenance (a plus, but not required).
- Other duties as requested by supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to three years of maintenance supervisory related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess good mathematical skills.
- Must be able to assess a situation and come up with a solution under the guidance of the Supervisor.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Must have the strength and flexibility to perform the above mentioned duties and be able to lift 75 lbs
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize under the guidance of the Supervisor.

- Valid US issued driver's license with a good driving record.
- Ability to pass background and drug and alcohol tests.
- Availability to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required/assigned.
