Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Starting Pay: $ 20- $22
Shift(s): 1 pm – 7 pm
Requirements & Skills:
· High School Diploma or equivalent, technical degree or qualifying, 2 years industry experience preferred
· Valid Driver’s License
· Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
Primary Duties Include:
· The basic function of the Visible Emissions Inspector is to monitor and record observations as needed in accordance with USEPA Method 9 and Method 22 as applicable.
· Assist the On-Site Project Manager and/or the facility coordinator to take control readings with agency personnel.
· Monitor and record observations of visible emissions and immediately notify facility coordinator of exceedances of internal or PM10 limits of the source observed.
· Ensure that the Visible Emissions Observations Form is completed and correct (i.e., start and end times recorded, calculated average opacity is correct, signed and dated, etc…).
· Execute other duties as assigned by the On-Site Project Manager or the USS Manager of Air Compliance.
