We are seeking a Locum Cardiothoracic Surgeon to provide vacation coverage at our facility in Virginia. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals and make a real difference in the lives of patients in need.
Qualifications
- Cardiothoracic Surgery coverage
- Weekday, Weeknight, and Weekend Call Coverage
- MD takes call from ED, ICU, and Transfer Center
- Active VA State License and DEA
- Cases Open Heart Surgery- CABG/AVR/MVR/TVR/Replace ascending aorta, LAA clipping/exclusion
Patient census—1-2 surgeries/day and any postop care for surgeries he/she performs
- Board-certified or board-eligible
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ACLS and BLS required
